HEATHER WATSON’S hopes of a first singles title in 2011 ended in bitter disappointment in Shrewsbury.
After a super run to the final of the Aegon GB Pro-Series event the Guernsey star was blown away 6-0, 6-3 by the top seed, Germany’s Mona Barthel.
