Floral chairman is confident of finding Bloom awards sponsors

MORE sponsors will be needed for Guernsey to host next year’s Britain in Bloom awards – although the island has already agreed to stage it.
Floral Guernsey volunteer chairman Tony Spruce was confident the funds would be found.
The group has been struggling with its finances lately, but a yet-to-be-revealed sponsor has stepped in to help with the community competition and floral weeks.
Deputy Spruce (pictured) said that had reduced the strain on its finances and now some small sponsors were needed to fund next year’s national event.
