Dodd gets first chance

JAMIE DODD could make his long-awaited Guernsey FC debut this weekend after being named in the squad to face South Kilburn.
The 22-year-old St Martin’s centre-back (pictured), who excelled in the Muratti Vase final against Jersey, has not played since the Island Games final in July due to a hip injury.
But he has come through four games unscathed for Saints in recent weeks and is now looking forward to making his Green Lions bow, although he knows he has a tough job to force his way back into the team.
‘They have made a great start and everyone is playing really well at the moment,’ he said.
