HER Royal Highness The Princess Royal is coming to Guernsey.

She will visit on Tuesday 8 November in support of different charities and fund-raising endeavours with which she has long-standing involvement.

Princess Anne is president of the Animal Health Trust and she will be the guest at a fund-raising dinner for both this group and for a prostate cancer charity, Prostate Action.

She will attend an AHT reception at Schroders that will also support its fund-raising work.

Jolly good, but this time, let’s keep her off the greasy granite sets pavements and spare her blushes, not to mention Geoff Rowland’s embarrassment at being told off for helping her.

…keep her away from Smith Street, unless Geoffrey Rowland is willing to stand by on ‘pick-up’ duty.

I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near this ill-tempered and ungracious woman.

    Martino and Arnald

    Both good points.

Perhaps we could offer her the headship – I imagine that standards would improve somewhat…

They’ll steer her well clear of there Arnald. She’ll be give the usual meaningless, fully sanitised, warts free royal tour that this island is so adept at laying on, with all the fawning, obsequious brown-nosing that such an exercise entails. They won’t want any more ‘slip ups’ either.

Take her for a trot on the beach, I’m sure she’d enjoy that.

    Well I agree with Martino.

What have this so called royal family ever done for Guernsey.
I have a photo when she was on her back at top of Smith street.
In my opinion it was her rightful place.
On her back.IE; can’t get lower.
You’ll gather I have no time whatsoever for these Royals. waste of peoples money.
Status symbol? what a joke that is.
