CASH prizes are on offer for schools across the Bailiwick thanks to a Guernsey Press competition sponsored by Moonpig.

By collecting coupons in this newspaper during the four weeks after half term, schools will be in with a chance of winning prizes of £5,000, £3,000 or £2,000 to spend on whatever they choose.

Those that decide to register with the Guernsey Press by no later than Friday 7 October will have to collect as many points as possible by gathering the coupons, worth 1,000 points each.

The number of coupons published in the paper each day will be at random and the top three schools will be calculated using student ratios to ensure the competition is fair.

Moonpig operations director Jeunene Bell said the company had been looking for an initiative that gave something back to the community and Cash4Schools did just that.
