Why did we have to wait till now for a fine summer’s day?

PEOPLE took to the outdoors yesterday as the temperature hit 26C.

As many were enjoying the sunshine during their lunch break, Island View Kiosk co-owner Nitsara Locke was busy serving extra customers.

‘The sunny weather is very good for business for us and we even had some warm weather yesterday so we are seeing a lot more customers, which is brilliant,’ the 30-year-old said.

‘We are going to keep the kiosk open all year round so it’s not the end of season for us, however it hasn’t been the best of summers, but it is lovely on a day like today – I am very happy,’ she said.

    Well it’s good news that they are staying open all year round. Let’s hope the weather stays the same and you never know, might even go for a dip on Christmas day!
