ALMOST £145,000 has been committed to a campaign raising funds for a permanent skatepark.

The Guernsey Xtreme Sports Association launched the Get on Board campaign last year.

It hopes to raise £200,000 so that the skatepark can be built at Beau Sejour.

‘We are doing very well,’ said association chairman Mike O’Hara.
