Jade Garven with her father, Ian Garven, who died after being found critically injured in a Pedvin Street flat
THE elder daughter of Ian Garven, who died after being taken in a critical condition to hospital from a Pedvin Street flat, has spoken of her heartbreak at losing her ‘best friend’.
Jade Garven, 20, said her dad was very supportive, loyal and doting.
‘We were very alike in our habits and our sense of humour,’ she said.
‘He used to spoil me – he would always give me his last penny, or £20 at the start of the week so I could go out and fun with my friends.
‘He would always invite me round for dinner and he would do the same for any of his friends who he knew were having a hard time.’
