NO FEWER than four grandmasters will be taking part in this year’s Intertrust Guernsey International Chess Festival.
The Guernsey Chess Federation organised event takes place once again at the Peninsula Hotel.
It is hoped that over 100 competitors will be taking part by the time the event gets under way on Sunday.
There will be many familiar faces as well as a few new ones at the festival now in its 37th year.
