I have interests in both Islands and if you think that the competition law will save you money, don’t you believe it! The bloated O.U.R., is already costing us all a small fortune in the amounts added by the utilities to cover their expenditure in dealing with the O.U.R. If you don’t believe me, just ask the Electricity Board.

The O.U.R does not publish the fat salaries received by its senior personnel – and it’s virtually impossible to get any meaningful breakdown of its accounts.

Heaven knows why the States seems to put so much faith in the O.U.R – a multi-headed gorgon which resides in a vast ivory tower! It needs to be killed off now before it regulates every public undertaking – what’s next in it’s sights after air travel, water?
