SARK-to-Jersey champions Joe Paul and Paul Isaacs are now ready to take on the world.
The phenomenal pair, who swept past the fancied fours crews to win the biggest race in the CI rowing calendar back in July, are to test themselves this weekend at the World Championships in Bari, Italy.
The Sarnians will be among 600 rowers from 20 nations competing in an event which is growing in stature by the year.
‘If we can finish in the top half of the A final it would be as good a result as we could possibly get,’ said Paul.
