A CRACKING strike from Matt Le Prevost 10 minutes from time deservedly earned Sylvans a share of the spoils last night at Northfield.

The Westerners worked their proverbial socks off and were well organised under the stewardship of the Renoufs, Lee and Colin, showing exactly why there is such a positive outlook at St Peter’s these days.

On the other side of the coin, for North it meant an end to their 100% winning record in the league and a missed opportunity to move above their opponents as well as leaders St Martin’s.

However, Ross Cameron will know his troops can move through several gears yet.
