KEYS to the new Les Bourgs Hospice building have been handed over.

Contractor R. G. Falla finished on budget and ahead of schedule – the original completion date had been 7 November.

The development now has to be kitted out for patients and staff will be given time to get used to the new layout before the hospice re-opens.

A date has not been set for that, but Les Bourgs Hospice chairman Jurat Mike Tanguy said he was keen to allow time to iron out any teething problems and to show the public round.
