Calendars are not up to required standard
Friday 21st October 2011, 10:24AM BST.
A GUERNSEY 2012 calendar issued free with today’s newspaper was only recently received back from its UK printer.
A read through it yesterday revealed some errors that, although they do not affect the integrity or use of the days and dates, are below the standard required by the Guernsey Press Co. Ltd.
As a result, we will be reprinting copies and making them available to readers on request as free replacements.
Guernsey Press managing director Mark Lewis said: ‘The errors are unacceptable and I have decided that “clean” copies should be available for our readers and customers.’
Anyone who is dissatisfied with the version in today’s Press is asked to request a reprinted version by contacting us in writing at The Guernsey Press, PO Box 57, Braye Road, Vale, GY1 3BW, or by email at calendar@guernsey-press.com, leaving full contact details no later than 31 October.
Notice will be given when replacements are available for collection.
