One of your first steps to a healthier, fitter lifestyle in 2013 is walking up Smith Street. That’s where you’ll find the nerve centre for Weight Wise Week – and Shaun Shackleton has been finding out what it’s about…
BELT a little bit tight after the festive season? Overindulged at too many Christmas parties? And is one of your New Year resolutions – yet again – to get yourself lighter, fitter and healthier?
With the help of the Health Promotion Unit’s Weight Wise Week, you could be well on your way to achieving your goals.
From now until 26 January, free health checks will be available at a ‘pop-up shop’ based at 22, Smith Street.
‘It’s all part of Health and Social Services’ 20/20 Vision, helping people to be responsible for their own health.
