BOOKINGS are now being taken for this year’s Specsavers Liberation Tea Dance, which celebrates the anniversary of the end of the German Occupation.
Islanders who meet the criteria set out in the form printed in today’s Guernsey Press can apply for tickets.
The tea dance is on Wednesday 8 May at Beau Sejour between 1.30 and 4pm. Swing trio The Three Belles as well as a big band from the UK are two of the acts due to perform. A traditional Guernsey afternoon tea, sponsored by Warry’s and the Guernsey Dairy, will be served.
