Beaches

The island’s west coast is home to some of its favourite beaches. Long and sandy with wide open spaces, these are ideal for children to play beach games and build sand castles.Vazon is the longest beach in the island and it attracts surfers when the waves are high. The beach is clean and safe which makes it a popular choice for young people and families. Just along the coast road is Cobo.

Cobo is smaller than Vazon but has many of the same qualities. It is clean and sandy with clean, clear water. All of the west coast beaches are easy to get to with plenty of car parking space and a kiosk or tea-room nearby.
