Ladies’ College win by a whisker

LADIES’ College scooped the Guernsey De Putron Challenge title in a neck-and-neck finish with Elizabeth College.
The girls won with 25 points and Elizabeth College finished with 24 after the Grammar School Sixth Form Centre was knocked out in the first heat.
Each team was made up of four students with two reserves.
The competition is in its fifth year and is a cross between University Challenge and Mastermind in which the three teams battle it out for the title and for £1,000 prize money for their school, with a further £500 to be awarded to the runners-up.
