ARSONISTS who attacked Indoor Cricket Guernsey put lives at risk, its operations manager said yesterday.

Chris Markham has described the people who committed the crime as ‘sick’ and ‘needed help’ after a fire was started in a wheelie bin outside the centre.

‘Arson is a serious crime and someone’s life could have been lost.’

Mr Markham said credit should be given to the structure of the building, which helped to minimise the damage.

Why, in todays technically knowledgeable situation, are the images so bloody awful.

The cameras are usually mounted way too high to get a good focus and protected cameras should be placed at low level where face shots can be easier to gather.

I think the answer is that the owners of the properties don`t investigate or seek qualified advice and just buy the cheapest system to satisfy the insurers of the property.

If owners want to catch and prosecute then I suggest a decent well mounted system will save you money in the end.

I can’t remember the number of times I have nearly burst my ulcer when the Press publish a photo asking if we have ‘seen this man’

I see him every time I’m out in a snow blizzard at midnight wearing my wife’s tights over my head (OK too much detail)

I just wonder if the local fitting companies are fit for purpose
