Honorary doctorate for Andy in recognition of premature baby foundation

ANDY PRIAULX has another title to add to his long list of achievements.

The triple World Touring Car champion has been given an honorary doctorate in civil law in recognition of his charity work

He was awarded the degree at the Institute of Health and Social Care Studies graduation ceremony at Les Cotils yesterday.

‘It was a real shock at first. I didn’t know whether it was real or not,’ Mr Priaulx said, referring to the moment he received the news he had been nominated. He was put forward for the honorary degree by the Health and Social Services Department in recognition of the improvements the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation had made to island healthcare.’
