SHOPPERS were busy grabbing a bargain in Le Lievre’s yesterday as the shop’s closing down sale started.

Customers filled the Church Square shop, which is due to close at the end of the month.

‘The sale will continue right throughout January and basically until most of the stock has gone. Whatever we have left will then be sent to the shop in Jersey,’ co-owner Phil Le Lievre said.

‘I would have thought a lot of people will be visiting to get some bargains and hopefully a lot of it will go.’
