PLANS to create a community garden at Delancey Park have been submitted to Environment.
As part of the regeneration of the park, a project being orchestrated by the Admiral de Saumarez Trust, plans have been put forward for a garden that would include fruit trees, hedgerows and a herb spiral.
The College of Further Education has been heavily involved with the project.
Sue Clack, programme manager of its Access department, said it would not only benefit students but also the wider community.

Well done to all the park is a beautiful area and we can see how much work has been done.
All you need now is more bins to cope with the rubbish as too often they are overflowing and rubbish blowing all over the park
Hope this will be sorted as it is an area that is well loved and used by many .
Sounds like a great idea. However, I would get a quote for 12 foot high fencing, security gates and cctv monitoring systems connected to the police to keep the place from getting smashed up on the first night it was left alone.
