A YOUNG film-maker has helped Les Bourgs Hospice by shooting a video to show people how to construct their Connie the Cash Cow cartons.

The cartons are delivered through the post and arrive flat. They can be made into a collection box featuring a picture of a cow and are the island charity’s latest fund-raising idea.

Eleven-year-old Beechwood pupil Harvey Page has put his footage on YouTube. He said he was approached to make the video as he had always been interested in animation and film-making.

He created it in four days. using his kitchen table to base the film around. ‘My favourite part was filming and editing. It was a good chance to help the charity. I would like to do animation when I’m older. Making videos is my hobby.’
