MORE than £3,000 has been raised so far from the Connie the Cash Cow campaign, which includes £500 from NatWest to kick-start the project.
Specially-designed milk carton collection boxes were delivered to all homes at the end of January.
So far about 220 cartons have been returned from the 25,500 households the flatpacks were initially delivered to.
Helen O’Meara, one of the campaign organisers for Les Bourgs Hospice, said the charity was delighted with the response.
