VAZON Beach Cafe will finally welcome customers into its much-anticipated new building next week.
Despite delays, the renamed Vistas Beach Cafe, Bar and Bistro will show off its dramatic transformation to islanders from Tuesday, promising a modern new look and experience for all customers.
Proprietor Nic Percy said they had originally planned to open in the summer, but extra work had extended that until next Tuesday.
‘It is a drastic change,’ he said.
‘I think this is now the finest place on the west coast for dining and its views.
As for the delays, he continued: ‘It has just taken longer than we thought. There were a few snags here and there, which had to be resolved. ‘

And here’s a ‘good luck’ from a local! Hope all goes well. Now that you’ve poshed up, will there still be a welcome for dripping surfers and leathered up bikers?
