Bus drivers have offer of new rota
Thursday 10th January 2013, 10:00AM GMT.
BUS operator CT Plus is offering a new work rota to its drivers in a bid to stop industrial action, a union official has said.
Unhappy employees will meet on Sunday evening to discuss the proposed new pattern before deciding whether to follow through with work-to-rule action scheduled for next week.
Unite union regional officer Bob Lanning, pictured, said he hoped this latest move would prevent industrial action over working hours and pay.
A further meeting is scheduled with CT Plus on 23 January to discuss issues.
