A MOTOR cruiser sank on its moorings yesterday in the QEII Marina.
The 23ft Shetland model, called the Black Prince, had to be lifted from the marina and taken away before more damage to it or other vessels was caused.
Harbour master Captain Peter Gill said the owner, Jon Wilson, was contacted as soon as the boat was spotted.
‘It was a fairly straightforward job but we did require divers to do it,’ he said.
John Cluett, of Sailing and Technical Services, said until he looked at the boat today he did not know what had caused the boat to sink.

Because the local HMV is not inextricably tied in with the UK branches it might just survive. With no real competitors ( other than the internet)in the island it could make a go of it as a stand alone outlet
