A CHARITY supporting young people can become self-sustaining over the next three years thanks to a donation of £75,000.

The Bridge Project has received the money from the Lloyds TSB Foundation.

The charity was founded in 2010 to establish a meeting place in the north of the island for young people aged between 14 and 19.

It operates from The Space in St Sampson’s.

The donation means it can now implement its business plan.
