Top architect faces debt action by former partner

AWARD-WINNING architect Jamie Falla is being sued for more than £300,000 by his former business partner.

Richard Sandwith retired last year as a fellow director of BAS Mooarc.

Mr Sandwith has alleged that Mr Falla, pictured, broke an agreement to transfer to him half ownership of The Arsenal Studios property, which is next to the fire station and which is currently for sale.

For Mr Sandwith, Advocate Robert Shepherd made an application to the Royal Court for the matter to go on the pleading list, which is what happens when a case is defended.

For Mr Falla, Advocate Mark Dunster said he could not agree to that because he needed more time to speak to his client.
