We’ll also be keeping in touch with the continuing search for missing woman Gillian Sarahs, following today’s story that the police are examing CCTV footage taken near two places where islanders have reported seeing her.

We’ll be getting more reaction to the on-going horse meat scare, after it emerged that Findus beef lasagne being sold in the island was, in some cases, 100% horse meat.

And we’ll be finding out what islanders think of the proposed Guernsey French commission, an idea being put forward by the Culture and Leisure Department in an effort to encourage the use of the language.

We’re currently checking out a story of a collision involving a van and a motorcycle in Trinity Square and we’ll have a report in tomorrow’s paper.

After Guernsey FC’s 3-1 over Spalding in the FA Vase competition on Saturday, today the sports department will learn who the Green Lions are to face in the quarter finals.

There’ll also be word on the who the Guernsey men’s hockey team will be playing in the quarter finals of the EH Trophy, following their weekend victory.
