POLICE have now confirmed that a potential sighting of missing Gillian Sarahs was not her.

Officers had been investigating two uncorroborated sightings of the 54-year-old at the Yacht Inn, St Peter Port, and near The Space youth centre at the Bridge last week.

But after looking at CCTV evidence and making enquiries, police identified the person spotted at the Yacht Inn and said it was not Ms Sarahs.

‘We know the Yacht one was definitely not her,’ said Detective Chief Inspector Ruari Hardy, pictured. ‘The other one we are still looking at.’
