A GUERNSEYMAN has been killed in a road traffic accident in Thailand, Guernsey Police have confirmed.

Officers yesterday informed the parents of the 35-year-old of the tragic collision.

A 35-year-old woman died in the same incident. Avon and Somerset Police have informed her next of kin in the Bristol area.

It is unclear when the accident happened or in what part of the country.

This morning a Guernsey Police spokesman said they were not releasing the identities of the victims until their extended families have been informed.
