Do you honestly believe that PSD look for pointless projects to use their very limited budgets on? Are you a qualified road engineer by the way... nah, didn't think so. Marty,

Although the wet winter hasn't helped it is interesting that the Lagan tractor routes are the worst despite being told by our traffic 'experts' that there would be no damage caused by them. Look at Le Val de Terres and Grande Rue in St Martins - terrible state. Why aren't Environment doing something about it? And can someone in high places explain why a tiny lane in St Saviours that does not serve any property and is used probably once a month has been closed for weeks whilst it is being re-built? This is an appalling waste of our money and its not the first time that a lot of money has been spent on roads that just don't need repairing - dreadful situation! As I have mentioned before …if someone trips and hurts themselves the States could end up with a very large insurance claim on their hands.
