AN URGENT meeting has been called to allow parents to voice concerns over the appointment of a joint head teacher at Forest Primary and Le Rondin.

Forest Primary PTA has organised next week’s get-together with Education following the news that Le Rondin head teacher Paula Sullivan will take on the new position in the next school year.

The meeting will be open to parents from both schools.

Forest Primary PTA chairman Alan Chapman said he had received a series of comments since the news broke last week and it wanted to provide a forum for these to be discussed and answered.

Sarnia cherie, my heart longs for thee

Im going to swan straight in on this one, surely a joint head is a good thing? Normally you have too many chiefs and not enough indians and not enough interdepartment communication, So you’ve got Paula Sullivan who has her finger on the pulse of both schools and makes sure there’s some uniformity being taught at both schools and there’s not different policies at different schools?

Reading between the lines, this must mean that it is Forest school earmarked for closure and not St Andrews
