LAW enforcement officers will be out in force this week carrying out a range of operations highlighting the joint work of Guernsey Police and the Guernsey Border Agency.

The two organisations will also take joint action on a number of covert operations.

Officers were yesterday stationed at the harbour checking freight and passenger cargo.

Sergeant Martin Harris was there with fellow police and Guernsey Border Agency officers.

They were joined at the checks by a GBA sniffer dog, which assisted with their investigations and searches.
