‘Negligent’ firm sued in pony death claim

A LAW firm is being sued for negligence after a man and two of his champion ponies inhaled noxious fumes from a neighbour’s bonfire.

Roland Le Prevost, of La Troisenne, Rue du Friquet, Castel, is actioning advocates Andrew Ayres, Samantha Bailey and Paul Lockwood, trading as Trinity Chambers, for £28,627.07.

He alleges that Advocate Ayres, pictured, ignored his requests to pursue a claim against the neighbour’s insurers and as a result it was now statute barred – out of time and no longer liable for legal action.

The case is being defended.
