Friday 12th July 2013, 8:30AM BST.
ITEMS including a dagger were presented in an Indian court yesterday as evidence against the man alleged to have killed Sarah Groves.
Dutchman Richard De Wit, 43, was yesterday formally charged with murdering her on a houseboat in Kashmir and illegally fleeing from the state.
He pleaded not guilty.
National media reports said among the evidence presented to the court were items the prosecution said were used in the murder.
Lawyers for Mr De Wit said the evidence was only circumstantial.
Miss Groves, 24, was found stabbed to death in a houseboat in Srinagar in northern India on 6 April.
A trial date has yet to be set.
