A FAMILY is searching for the creator of a painting they took home after finding it on holiday last year.
The picture is of a woman with one red eye and a hole in her torso showing her ribs. Wires can be seen going from her ribs to her ear. Peter Davies, 57, and his family found the piece of art they believed had been thrown away at low tide by Castle Cornet. It was discovered by his sons Huw and Lawrence. ‘Huw said to me that the picture reminded him of the Mona Lisa.’
Mr Davies said the family still have the painting at their home in Twickenham but are back in be in Guernsey today. Full story in today’s Guernsey Press.
