BLISTERS, ant bites and freezing showers did not stop a father and daughter trekking 430 miles across the Alps for a cause close to their hearts.
Eleven-year-old Imogene Edwards and her father, Advocate Chris, a partner at Mourant Ozannes, completed the gruelling four-week journey from Geneva in Switzerland to Nice in France.
All the money raised by the pair will go to the National Autistic Society, of which mother and wife Samantha Edwards is a Guernsey branch committee member.
Imogene’s younger brother, Benji, was diagnosed with autism at the age of three, so the Edwards family know about the great work and support of the charity.
