DEVELOPERS have pledged to work with concerned neighbours after a block of six apartments was given the go ahead in a built-up part of Town.
Coupee Lane Ltd secured permission for its revised plans to build the additional apartments at Coupee Lane, next to existing plans for 10 flats, at an open planning meeting yesterday.
The developers were previously refused permission to build an extra seven apartments on the controversial site, but addressed the previous concerns over its impact and scale, with changes to the design, including retaining the existing facade of La Recherche fronting onto Cliff Street.
Director of Coupee Lane Ltd, Jeremy Rihoy said that it had been a long and tortuous process to get this far but vowed to work with concerned neighbours, including Penny Summers, who raised a series of objections at yesterday’s meeting.
