Sir Bradley wants Guernsey to be more cycle-friendly
Monday 21st October 2013, 1:00PM BST.
SIR Bradley Wiggins yesterday appealed for Guernsey to be a more cycle-friendly island.
He also said there were too many cars in the island as he spoke during the presentations following the Guernsey Rides for Bradley event.
Those involved with the ceremony were crammed into the commentary box due to torrential rain.
Hundreds of people took part in the races, which saw the circuit run from the Albert Pier monument to the Weighbridge roundabout, starting by the entrance to the Crown Pier.
Some cyclists wore yellow moustaches that members of Male Uprising in Guernsey handed out.
Sir Bradley was presented with a silver bike on behalf of the island.
