The Duke of Edinburgh will visit a centre providing care for the elderly today – and collect a present for Prince George.
Philip will tour St Michael’s Care Complex whose services include nursing, residential and dementia care for the older people of the market town of Aylsham in Norfolk.
The duke, who has returned to public duties recently after undergoing exploratory abdominal surgery during the summer, will meet staff, volunteers and residents and tour three of the purpose-built buildings on the complex.
Residents will present the royal with the special gift for his great grandson who will be christened later this month.
During his tour of the centre Philip will see various activities taking place including arts and crafts, dancing and carpet bowls, before signing an official portrait for the centre.
