Lower tide of rubbish

HERM’S annual Beachwatch clear-up has proved that visitors are being much more careful about how they dispose of their rubbish.

The show must go on

HERM experienced a welcome dose of live music as a Take That tribute band came over to rock the island for two nights in a row.

Hello to a hero

THREE Herm children were delighted last week to meet their football hero Matt Le Tissier. The three brothers – Will, 12, Charlie, 10 and Elliot Knight, 7 – are all big fans of Southampton football team and especially of former star player Matt.

There’s No Place Like Herm tackles the Eggheads

SIX quiz-loving Herm residents last weekend flew to London to take part in the BBC game show Eggheads. The island team, named There’s No Place Like Herm, consisted of Kirsten Parker George, Jonathan Watson, Gavin Hyde, Mike Rowe, Matt Brawn and Tom Harvey.
