JON GREENFIELD claimed his second victory of the summer as the De Putron Triathlon Series reached its finale.

Petit Bot was the venue for the fourth and final race of the campaign and the large field was undeterred by the bad weather conditions seen over most of the weekend, proof of the sport’s popularity in the island.

While Greenfield (pictured) was a clear favourite to win, it was the challenges for second and third and division positions that were of particular interest.

Luke Winberg showed his strength on the swim. Despite being the only non-wetsuit swimmer he exited the water with over a 30-second lead on the rest of the competitors.
