NASHCOPY Ladies hit what their captain described as a ‘psychological brick wall’ as they just failed to reach another annual open final at Beau Sejour.

Karen Archenoul’s team had played so well up to the match against Ashcombe and were a set up against the English side, before it all went wrong.

Archenoul’s side had been losing finalists in 2010 and had high hopes of making another appearance.

‘We had a fabulous tournament up to the semi-final and then it went pear-shaped.’
