Andrew Bridgman sets sail at the National Championships at Weymouth this summer. He qualified for the gold fleet and finished 50th out of 140 competitors.
A QUARTET of top Guernsey dinghy sailors will compete in the National Inland Championships at Grafham Water, Cambridge, this weekend.
The island will be represented at all three events, with Henrik Asplund competing in the Standard Sail event, Andrew Bridgman and Johanna Asplund in the Radial Rig, and Clementine Thompson in the 4.7.
Henrik Asplund will be hoping to emulate his performance at Weymouth in the summer where in one race he finished fifth competing against several Olympic contenders.
His daughter, Johanna Asplund, is also waiting to hear if she has been selected for the National Transitional Squad.
