INCREASED confidence and hard work has been the key for Craig Mollet as he prepares for his second Ambassadeur Bowl appearance this afternoon.

The 19-year-old Northerner only ever appeared as a substitute at under-18 Junior Muratti level, but now looks likely to start in successive years in the under-21 Muratti against Jersey at the Track.

It comes off the back of a fantastic start to the season for his club that has seen him deployed both at his accustomed right-back position and also further forward on the pitch.

Jersey will already know all about him after his stunning attacking display destroyed league leaders Jersey Scottish in a recent Jeremie Cup tie, while he also impressed against St Ouen in the same competition.
