A BRILLIANT 111 break from Martyn Desperques was the pick of the Individual Snooker League action.

Desperques’ second century of the season came in the third frame of his 4-1 win over Tom Brock, breaking down on a straightforward pink with a possible 124 in his sights – a score that would have beaten Adam Shorto’s best of season by one point.

A 74 clearance in the next established a four-frame lead for Desperques, but he was made to settle for a fourth 4-1 win when Brock took the last with a fine 49.

Shorto is joint top with Desperques on 20 points after beating Darren Hughes 5-0.
