GUERNSEY are out to win the lot in this year’s Channel Island International Pool Championships in Jersey.

Two men’s and two women’s teams will represent Guernsey for the championships, which run from 17 to 20 November.

Having scooped both the men’s and women’s championships in 2009, last year was a dry spell and Guernsey Eight-Ball Association chairman Richard Sutton wants the island to get back to winning ways.

‘We are very hungry to win them back,’ he said. ‘The women especially because we’ve recruited some of the old guard back who have played in European and World championships like Ruth Vaudin and Denise Cull, who had taken some time out of the game.’
