THE winter championship has a familiar look as Ozzy Ozanne took Callum Queripel’s lead away, leaving his teammate to recover from a spin in his heat.

Dean Leaver maintained form in standard tyres beating Shane Le Poidevin and is defending the small cars title from Martyn ‘Snake’ Lowe.

The magnificent Subaru of Ozanne dominated both his races, taking maximum points in the meeting from the rapid Honda of Shaun Bichard. The latter had spun out Queripel in their heat after a race-long battle until the last lap.

Queripel duly won the race of seconds to maintain a two-point gap to Ozanne.
